Good question. At least building universal design, choice, and mastery into the curriculum is a solid model. Would that we actually follow it instead of just trying to recreate it over and over.
Something I'm trying to figure out is why we invent the same learning technology (IPI, Khan Academy, flipped learning, self-paced learning, Modern Classrooms) every few years going back to at least the 1970s. What makes this idea so appealing?
