100% model accuracy is almost the worst result you can get in ML. I was building a clinical triage classifier and got near-perfect accuracy. It was Clean, Confident, and Suspicious. Turns out target-related information leaked into the features during preprocessing. The model wasn’t learning at that point, rather it was being fed the answers. I rebuilt the pipeline from scratch. Accuracy dropped significantly. And that lower number was the first result I actually trusted. One of the biggest ML traps: High accuracy doesn’t always mean a good model. Sometimes your dataset is quietly leaking the target.

Sometimes when I sit to work, I tend to feel guilty using AI, and for a while now I’ve been trying to drastically reduce my dependence on it. I’m sure a lot of us have felt this way at some point. But the truth is, whether you decide to use AI or not, the tech isn’t going away. And the beautiful thing is, AI is here to help and make things easier. Just think of it like Google or that textbook you go to search for answers. It just gives answers faster. Just make sure you still cross-check because AI can get things wrong sometimes.
