I’ve got two poems in this new issue of the very brilliant Welsh @modronmagazine, including this fun experiment called ‘On meaning to leave’.
The other poem ‘From the loft’ is available here: modronmagazine.com/two-poems… —and some really beautiful poems from amazing writers. 🌳🌍
Year-end review: a good, busy year: appeared in some beautiful journals, published an “outstanding” pamphlet: ‘Notes on Burials’, won a Toto Award, read work for @adroitjournal, featured as an @acumenpoetry Young Poet, got a Pushcart nom. from @thewingedmoon! Blessèd!
Equally surprised and overjoyed to see this review of ‘Notes on Burials’ in @TheYorksTimes. It has been called an “outstanding” collection. Thank you! 🥹
So, @amazonhelp has gone from “Cool!” to “meh!” in a couple years or so! 5 complaints placed in 3 weeks for the exact same issue. No luck yet!
sup, @amazonIN/@amazon?
Very frustrated with this insincere response from @amazonIN customer service. 4 complaints in 3 weeks about refunds to be processed against UNDELIVERED items, and no resolution, no acknowledgement, nor accepting any responsibility for the situation. What’s up, @amazon?
I’ve loved going to @KFC for sometime now. I’ve been in Allahabad, Indore, Bangalore, and elsewhere. But the one in Purnea was a lousy fail (left my intestines unsettled) and if an honest inspector was to visit, they’d at least find old oil being used. And why?!
@KFC_India 😞
It’s been a minute since I began reading my poems out loud, but only recently have I put up a podcast. It’s everywhere, and today’s is an old one—written after a brilliant painting of Vera Iliatova’s; and was @inksweattears’ May 2021 pick of the month.

Jayant Kashyap: NOTES ON BURIALS out now! retweeted
Our first poetry excerpt from BIOPHILIA. ‘Annotations on Microbes’ from Jayant Kashap @jaydkash
We adored his perspective on our theme and felt it was the perfect tone to begin our life-rooted symphony
You can read the whole poem here wingedmoon.com/biophilia
‘Notes on Burials’ has received SOME praise lately, from Alice Kate Mullen in the @poetrybooksoc Autumn Bulletin, and from @chickenbex on the eche poetry website. Utterly grateful for all the kindness! 🙇🏻

“Notes on Burials sits comfortably alongside the work of Seamus Heaney and Anne Carson.”
