The argument that the race of Helen doesn’t matter because it’s a story is disingenuous. Regardless of how you spin it, Greece is part of Europe and its native people are considered white. I know this is weird, but white comes in many shades, including darker Italians and Greeks. Quit acting like it’s ridiculous to assume the characters in a Greek story are “white” and not Sub-Saharan Africans. Especially when the very same people who see no big deal in the casting are the first ones to cry white washing if a white actor plays a character they say is a POC. Either the race matters when casting an actor or it doesn’t.

Are the toxic Sam stans on X the worst stans in the MCU? I used to think Tony Stark stans were the worst, but at least Tony is actually extremely popular.

No one hates that Bucky and Sam are friends. What they object to is the characterization of said friendship by toxic Sam stans who act as if it’s deeper than it is or even deeper than Steve and Bucky’s friendship. The TRUTH is that Steve is one with the great friendships with each of them. Bucky is his BFF that he grew up with. Sam is his BFF that he made after he came out of the ice.

Sam stans calling anyone who doesn’t like him as Captain America racists while their asses like him as Captain America because he’s black.

Anyone who doesn’t like Sam has Cap is racist. Meanwhile, Sam fans can openly state that Steve is just some bland WHITE guy. Okay.

Steve is the bridge between Endgame and Doomsday. This does not mean the MCU is retconning all the shows and movies after Endgame. My theory: Endgame ended with clean-cut Steve going back in time. Doomsday starts with clean-cut Steve still back in time. Something happens with Steve that takes him out of the past. Years pass and the result is the long hair beared Nomad Steve in Doomsday.

But Sam Wilson is Captain America and that means he should be the lead character with more screen-time than that loser Steve Rogers!! Meanwhile, Steve Rogers didn’t show up in Infinity War until about 40 minutes in, yet still managed to be memorable enough that you forget he only had about 7 minutes of screen-time.
