Two countries with a McDonalds now in open warfare. In 1996 Thomas Friedman had posited it shouldn't happen: if a place was rich enough to have Big Macs, its people had too much to lose from war. It was archetypal of a time when we thought the End of History was in sight.

Yes, the guy running a fake university & caught stealing from 2 charities was attempting to root out corruption in a foreign company by bypassing the US intelligence & law enforcement agencies at his disposal & using 3 goons. Hard to believe people aren't buying this.
A reminder of what this is all about: any president -- any administration -- is justified in investigating corruption.
And there was serious evidence of real corruption concerning Hunter Biden on the board of Burisma.

Rhode Island will go down to one house district, meaning that we'll have the highest percentage of states with single-representative districts since the 1830s (and at that time we were adding states). It's time to increase the size of the House.
