Certainly not how we wanted to see it end, but what a season. To break the drought, have home playoff games/parties in the plaza again. To actually get to enjoy hockey and care enough to be upset by a loss in May feels like a win in and of itself. Thanks for the run @BuffaloSabres. You’ll be back.

I say it for the Bills and I’ll say it for the Sabres. The chance to have your heart broken in the worst ways still beats not having the chance at all.
This was a hell of a run and I enjoyed seeing the city enjoy playoff hockey. Hopefully it’s here for awhile.
