I'll save you from reading the below idiocy: the scooter is already illegal. You don't license illegal vehicles.
But our officials were are too cowardly to license these vehicles and purposely ignored a clear and popular safety mandate, intentionally creating a situation where now it's "too late" to include it in the budget. Cowards. @SpeakerMenin @NYCMayor shorturl.at/lFXbD

Baltimore fought for this. Maryland is accelerating nearly $25 million to jump-start a new bus division - the linchpin of the BMORE Bus plan and a major step toward expanding service for the workers, students, and families who depend on it every day. Grateful for Del. Edelson and every advocate and rider who packed hearings and rallied in Annapolis to make this happen.

It's funny how we can prop up transit and make quick investments when it involves sports on a world stage... I wish we cared enough about regular people in this country to make transit this good for communities all the time. npr.org/2026/05/20/nx-s1-581…

When I have gone down to Fells and its environs , I have counted what must be close to a dozen public parking garages. Then add garages for hotel guests , commercial , and residential tenants.
There really needs to be serious consideration of banning vehicle traffic in Fells. It wasn't designed for the heavy weekend traffic and there is mass transit in the area. thebanner.com/culture/food-d…

Safety first! Can just close streets below Lancaster. And finally fix the Belgian block so streets are passable for pedestrians, strollers, bikes, scooters etc. The businesses will find its better for business.

I was the only reporter in the courtroom for the sentencing of Adam Obest. I’d like to push back against some of the image rehabilitation going on here. My coverage, for reference: yahoo.com/news/thurmont-man-…
