COORDINATED POSTS OF FORGED DOCUMENT SEEKS TO DISCREDIT INVESTIGATIVE NEWSROOMS Several accounts, many of them with a reputation for disseminating disinformation, are posting a supposed memo from the National Endowment for Democracy. The supposed document insinuates that NED is coordinating the reports of Rappler, Vera Files, and the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism on flood control corruption. It also purportedly aligns and supports the mass protests organized by Akbayan, Bayan, Karapatan, and Kabataan. The memo is fabricated.
