For anyone having a similar usability problem, it can be largely resolved by turning on automode. If you don’t see the automode option, it is because the company admin needs to turn on the option for the company workspace.

Claude Code is barely usable for me right now. It asks for permission constantly, but doesn’t notify me when it needs approval, even though I have notifications turned on. Am I doing something wrong?
