Love Mariners/fitness/Seahawks/community. Eternal optimist. I’m great @ Mario Kart when my kids aren’t playing. I wear an “Ask me about election reform” button.

My dad and I watched this game together - he was skeptical and pronounced his name just like Dave did lol. After a few more games, my dad was an Ichiro believer. We all were. #TridentsUp
Twenty-five years ago today, Ichiro Suzuki made his major league debut at Safeco Field.

Had a great time watching Colt in Everett (and getting his autograph!) Gonna have an even better time watching him in Seattle the next decade! #tridentsup
BREAKING: Colt Emerson and the Seattle Mariners are in agreement on an eight-year, $95 million contract extension, sources say. The deal includes a ninth-year club option, a full no-trade clause and escalators that can bring it north of $130 million. Emerson is represented by ACES.

Seattle baseball has a real feeling - hope with a little pain. We’ve waited 50 years and still come back smiling every year. But this year feels different. Go Mariners! #tridentsup
Time to go win a World Series 🤷‍♂️

Statues I want to see outside T-Mobile in my lifetime: Félix w/ HIS hands to the sky. The Double and the Smile. A robbery at the wall that deserved a gold glove. And one swing that shook the whole city. More memories in 2026! #TridentsUp

My mom sent a box of some of my dad’s old Mariners stuff - 80s, 90s, early 2000s, all of it. The heartbreak. The hope. The history. Would be a pretty good time to start a new chapter tomorrow. ⚾️ #tridentsup

Breaking: The NBA's Board of Governors has approved a vote for the league to explore bids and applicants for expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle, sources tell ESPN. A bidding process is expected to generate offers in the $7-10 billion range for each team.

I’m still bitter about Anchorage Alaska never having the Winter Olympics. #WinterOlympicGames

I was 20 years old when this happened last. In 2001, three college buddies drove from Boise, ID to Seattle to watch win 116. We got the cheapest tickets, booed AROD and watched a 1-0 victory. 24 years later we still text about the @Mariners . Can’t wait for October! #TridentsUp

After my dad (the biggest Ms fan I knew) died in Dec 2021, I stood at his funeral and opened with a story about being 14 years old, the @Mariners and what hope felt like in 1995. Today and this season feels like that again. #TridentsUp

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg. The beloved Cubs second baseman was a five-tool model of consistency in the 1980s and early ’90s, making 10 consecutive All-Star teams and winning 9 straight Gold Glove awards. On June 23, 1984, a national TV audience watched Sandberg hit a pair of game-tying home runs in the 9th and 10th innings off Cardinals closer and future Hall of Famer Bruce Sutter. Part of a magical Cubs Postseason run, the game is forever remembered in Chicago as “The Sandberg Game.” He went on to win the 1984 NL MVP Award. Over 16 seasons, Sandberg slugged 282 home runs, 277 of which were as a second baseman, then a Major League record. He hit 25 homers five times and stole 30 bases five times. Sandberg made his Major League debut with the Phillies in 1981 and later managed them for parts of three seasons. On June 23, 2024, the 40th anniversary of his iconic moment, the Cubs unveiled a statue of Sandberg outside Wrigley Field. Sandberg bravely battled cancer the last two years. He was 65.

8 year old me got a Ryne 1989 upper deck card and he quickly became my all time favorite player. He made me fall in love with baseball with his smooth glove, hard play, and class. A special place in my baseball heart forever. RIP Ryne.

Every time I wear this shirt to a Mariners game, I bet my kids that I get at least 15 compliments. I’m up to 10 already tonight. A family whose little boy had the same shirt wanted to get a photo with me! It’s a classic. go @Mariners #TridentsUp
