"Warning as lead and arsenic wash up on beach."
Remember those plastic beads now washing up along a 70 mile stretch of the English coast, the ones belonging to Southern Water that they told you were inert and totally harmless?
Turns out they're contaminated with lead, arsenic and cadmium amongst other things.

Ben Elton gets the Slapstick/ Aardman Comedy Legend Award at the culmination of the very good 2025 @slapstickfest. This was the 20th Slapstick and I’ve been at all of them. It’s another example of one of the things that’s good about Bristol - festivals you don’t get elsewhere.

The Govt have now announced their much heralded ban on wet wipes on no less than 3 occasions in recent years (2018, 21, 23) 🙄
