After leading @CSUDHmbb to a shared conference championship last season, my best friend @CoachBeck1 just led his Dominguez Hills Toros to their first outright CCAA championship in school history! Couldn’t have happened to a better person!

This really stings. Lou Colombano (along with Kathy) were the most supportive boosters in my 14 years at Pepperdine because they were full of love.
They often traveled with us and loved being around the guys. They were the same when we won or lost - the best!

Lou & his wife Kathy have supported Pepperdine and Waves basketball for over 40 years- he will be dearly missed on the sidelines in Firestone.

The Sacramento Kings are hiring Quinton Crawford as head coach of the franchise’s NBA G League Stockton Kings, sources tell @TheAthletic. Crawford, 33, spent last seven seasons as an NBA assistant, including 2023-24 in Phoenix. He was part of the 2020 Lakers championship staff.

Important note for anyone that “covers” cbb, calling this tampering - understand how the portal rules work - the Transfer Portal opened on Monday, but when there’s a coaching change you do not have to wait until then to enter. Houston has been in the portal for a couple weeks.

The 6-5 junior averaged 14.7 PPG this season on 41.5% from three.
