Feeling a need to connect? Check out our new issue!
It’s here! Throw your arms around Issue 16: explore the isolation and seek connection in the void.Ā  It’s got crab claws and viola strings, pop tabs and yurts, rarefied air and the weakest tea you’ve ever had. Come on in and cozy up. vastliterarypress.org/25q4/

Hi @USRepMikeFlood, I live in your hometown of Norfolk, NE and believe these women absolutely represent our values: freedom of expression, bodily autonomy, safety, democracy, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to name a few.
These attention-seeking activists don’t represent Nebraska values. Americans have the right to protest, but here in our state, people show their faces when they debate serious issues.

I asked the introducer of Nebraska’s anti-trans bathroom bill how she knows I was assigned female at birth. She conceded that she doesn’t know. The reality is, this bill would turn every public bathroom into a battleground where ppl are harassed and reported based on stereotypes.

Our hearts break for the families who lost loved ones in the tragic plane and helicopter crash at DCA. Michelle and I send our prayers and condolences to everyone who is mourning today, and we’re grateful to the first responders who are doing everything they can to help under extremely difficult circumstances.

13 Things you do that screams ā€œchildhood traumaā€ that needs urgent professional help: 1. Over-apologizing: A lot of times, that comes from growing up in environments where you had to tiptoe around people's emotions, so you'd rather take the blame preemptively than deal with conflict.
