The talent keeps coming! Future mustangs form George Whitten Elementary choir performed the national anthem at the KDDC basketball game tonight and they were amazing! Can't wait to get these kids to Knox Doss, I know @jmann_edu was proud.

Hey @scottlangford72 and @kylecraighead85 You know how to make ratios fun? By measuring the ratio of business in the front to party in the back to determine who is the most "mullet-y." I'll never think of ratios or mullets the same again. #sumnerachieves

I really enjoyed listening to this 5th grade math lesson @GeorgeWhittenES.
Ms. Robertson had students analyzing number relationships, using a variety of numerical strategies, and asking students open-ended questions to facilitate deeper internalization & reflection. @jmann_edu

Loved seeing Mrs. Hutchison’s 2nd graders transition to morning meeting on the carpet. Mrs. Hutchison does a fantastic job integrating music into her classroom for transitions. Such a fun example of a solid routine where students know the expectations. @jmann_edu @GeorgeWhittenES

TNREADY- I’m so proud of the hard work by all @SchoolsSumner but especially the #SCSELDepartment! We made a goal to increase rigor for our kids & collaboration w/ teachers. I’m happy to report ELs in SCS grew by 37% in ELA & 30% in math! @JamiJWarren @scottlangford72 @co_sumner
