The truth is that unless we rapidly reorganize society to center around the collective instead of the individual, we will continue to completely fail at dealing with global crises like COVID and climate change.
When in the morning you wake up angry and complain for no reason , always remember that being born in the right place in the world is just a matter of luck.
So with #COP26 done and 1.5 degrees on life support, what kind of climate activism do we need from here on out?
For some leading activists, the answer seems to be: more of the same. More shouting, more civil disobedience, more marches in the streets.
And perhaps they’re right.

We are realists. Flying less is not pessimism.
We love reading about the electric flight trials. And about efficient wing airflow.
But it would be unrealistic to say technology alone, with no change in number of flights, can deliver rapid reductions in jet fuel burn.
