Some companies really do be out here publishing Kubernetes controllers and operators while demonstrating an almost criminal lack of understanding of how Kubernetes works.

Started experimenting with some alternate tools in my local dev environment. - @zeddotdev replacing #vscode. Fast & stable. Debugger and git support would be nice. gopls hangs less. dlv and lazygit ( git) filling the gaps. - #ghostty replacing iTerm2, great so far! Great perf.

my two cents: as a FAANG hiring manager, when i see a developer resume that has open source contributions, i put it in the discard pile. to me it’s a red flag. how dedicated can you really be to your job if you have this much spare time to write code for free?

Just moved to London! Farewell Cambridge, the last 5 years have been great but it's time for a change. I have to say... been here all of 36 hours and I am already certain I'm selling the car, it takes something that I obviously don't have to drive in this city.
