Got to try the @HaptX G1 gloves at #AWE2024 before the show began, right as I drove up from San Diego. The gloves are definitely improved in terms of comfort and ease of use, as is the backpack with all the necessary parts. But the thing that might have blown my mind the most is that while these gloves are commonly used for training humans with new tasks, they are now in heavy use for training robots using human movements.
Getting excited to talk at #AWE2023 about Multiuser Haptics in the Collaborative Enterprise.
As XR continues to take root in the enterprise, collaboration will be paramount.
Adding haptics will make collaboration more effective and more fun.

What a great panel! It was great to collaborate with Bill Bond, @tbelda David Hananel, @joemich and Sage Wexner for the Virtual Reality Haptics Panel @ #IMSH2023. There were also over 23 VRxAR simulation solutions being demonstrated! #simulation#haptics#VR#AR
I wonder if we could use something like this when it comes out to make CAD systems more accessible. Feel how parts of your design fit together and manipulate virtual handles or lego to keep building it out. Or, even on demand tactile graphics.

Always fascinating to see the cool #VR stuff at @CES . This guy's "petting a cat" using haptic gloves by @HaptX that allow you to touch virtual objects like a cat (or a jet engine) and approximate what the real object would feel like.

Latest force feedback / haptics feedback gloves from @HaptX ! This is the future of VR. I've said it before but these guys are a major inspiration for the tech in my novel Path of Relics.
