The first recorded Royal Distribution was at Knaresborough, North Yorkshire by King John in 1210.

It’s quite straight forward Lotty. Once the decision was made to “amalgamate” councils this was inevitable.
EG: Harrogate pavements under HBC all cleared. Under NYC none done.
I have no evidence but be interested if Northallerton pavements cleared?

19 years ago today, Doncaster Rovers thrashed Aston Villa 3-0 to reach the quarter-finals of the League Cup for very first time.
It remains one of the greatest results in the club’s history.
Belle Vue was absolutely rocking that night.
