A lot of people hold crypto but don’t really know how to use it in everyday life.
BitMart’s Crypto Prepaid Card is one way that gap is being bridged.
Here’s how it works in simple terms:
• You sell crypto on BitMart (BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL, etc.)
• The value is converted to USD and loaded onto a prepaid card
• The card can be used anywhere Visa/Mastercard is accepted online or offline
How to apply for the BitMart Crypto Prepaid Card (step by step):
Step 1: Create a BitMart account or log in if you already have one
Step 2: Complete basic identity verification (KYC1). This is required to issue the card and usually takes a short time
Step 3: Choose the card type you want
• Virtual card (for online payments and wallets)
• Physical card (for in-store use and ATM withdrawals)
Step 4: Apply directly inside the BitMart app or website and activate the card once approved
Step 5: Load funds by selling crypto in your BitMart account. The balance is automatically available on the card in USD
Step 6: Start using the card like a normal debit card online, offline, or through Apple Pay / Google Pay
What stood out to me while reviewing it:
• Works globally (where Visa/Mastercard is supported)
• Can be linked to Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, or WeChat
• No annual fee, instant card creation after KYC1
• Daily interest (up to 6% APR) on unused balance
It’s a practical example of how crypto moves from just holding to real-world spending.
Adoption isn’t loud it’s functional.
I will share more details as I continue exploring how this works in practice.
