Chief Justice Baker told legislative committee that the Supreme Court, which doesn't do much legal work anymore, there being no time for all the fussing, can't do criminal cases because new justice has conflicts. Makes no sense. That justice says it's bull. The band screeches on.

On presidential inaugural day thoughts turn to Razorback football having the 41st transfer class in one ranking, 11th in SEC, behind Vandy. Lost 30, brought in 21, almost all 3-stars. Thank goodness we got Calipari and several well-paid tall youths passing through for basketball.

It is true that I said early that the Calipari/transfers/exhibition victory exuberance was irrational. But I had not specifically expected 0-5 in the conference. Why did everything negative about transfers who don't care as a team decide to manifest itself in Fayetteville, AR?
