Is this year is wetter than usual? Or hotter than average? What about wind? Is this typical? Last year I moved to a new city where there is actual weather and 4 seasons. Now, I have no idea if the weather is normal for this time of year. I built MyClimateIQ.com to answer these questions. It's free - you can plug in your Personal Weather Station info and get real time updates on how your weather compares to the historical averages across multiple sources. Customize your charts/comparisons as much or as little as you wish. Colors, source data, averages, etc. Add multiple cities and connect a PWS in each, if you have that many... Also - try it on iPhone and iPad if you're feeling up to it. Everything syncs across all platforms.

Very well written and 100% correct.
.@BernieSanders , it is a time to celebrate. @elonmusk has created enormous value for society by building @SpaceX, driving down the cost of rocket launches and creating a global satellite communication network that has brought high speed, low-cost internet and communication access to hundreds of millions and eventually billions of people along with critical advantages for our military and our nation’s defense. SpaceX and its technologies will cause an acceleration in the growth of wages and wealth creation globally, including in some of the poorest communities in the U.S. and around the world. Access to low-cost, high speed communications everywhere will allow children around the world to be educated, families to build businesses, and life-saving medical knowledge and care to be available everywhere. SpaceX will materially bring down the cost of compute, advancing AI and humanity. Meanwhile, 4,000 SpaceX employees yesterday became millionaires, including hourly wage employees who you claim you are trying to help. The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist. Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives. Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation. Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears. Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction. We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.

I still find myself defaulting to Claude or ChatGPT instead of using Siri just because it’s hard to believe that Siri is actually good now. Going to have to force myself to change this I think. Or maybe I’ll just use Siri for device assistance and the others for search…

White House, June 2024 vs June 2026:

I told Opus 4.8 to use it's Fable 5 knowledge to make design improvements. What are the odds this actually helped anything?

Haven't watched soccer in forever, mostly because I can't stand all the diving and fake screaming in agony. Just saw them review a dive in the USA game and issued the guy a yellow card. Do that shit all the time and maybe everyone will stop being little bitches. Then soccer might be watchable.

Does Fable 5 work in Perplexity Computer? Maybe that’ll be the best middle ground. Can use Fable/Opus for frontend, and switch to GPT-5.5 (or 5.6) for backend. Just wonder how quickly the monthly credit allocation would get burned… 🤔

The current OpenAI / Anthropic conundrum: - Sam Altman seems like an extremely untrustworthy leader, but everyone else within OpenAI and their marketing seem trustworthy. Makes great models and products, but missing the most important piece which is great looking outcomes. - Dario Amodei seems mostly trustworthy as a leader (albeit it a total weirdo), but their entire marketing scheme seems like total BS and I don’t trust it for a second. Also makes great products but focused less on polish and more on hype. Not sure who deserves my money more 🤷‍♂️

Anyone running Fable 5 on medium as the default? Seems like a great compromise between capability and token usage. Seems on par usage wise with Opus 4.8 on Extra. Also feels more capable and faster...

Here's your reminder: if you're building apps for Apple app store, do not update your Mac to MacOS 27 developer beta. It breaks Apple App Connect due to version differences. Unless I'm just an idiot and there's an easy fix?

iOS 27 Beta 1 seems to have significantly improved the keyboard. Recently there have been major issues with typos, keystrokes not registering, and then autocorrect just flat not working. This isn’t scientific but I’m no longer having to backspace 1000 times per text message.

Skenes Night: He’s due. So here’s the deal. If Paul strikes out 9 or more. Like he did the last time he faced the Dodgers. And the Buccos win. I’ll give away 5 Paul Skenes jerseys. Just follow me. And retweet this post. And you’re good. Let’s go Bucs!

Best app/utility I've made so far with either Codex/Claude: Keyboard disabler so I can wipe my keyboard without clicking a bunch of kjasnfkjlasndfkjalsndf;asdnf'asdnf'as'dasnk22k3njr;asgf

I'm surprised that I'm saying this, but my apps, websites, and just products in general have improved significantly after switching to Claude/Opus as my primary. Not only visually, but feature-wise also. I think it's because I'm just way more confident that adding a feature will actually look good, so I'm more excited about doing more cool stuff. I haven't cranked out this much work in weeks and it's only been 2 days.

Now that Claude Code is in the desktop app and doesn't require CLI - why are these still separate in Claude? Maybe I'm just an idiot, but I see no reason to use Claude Cowork when Claude Code can already do everything. Am I missing something? @ClaudeDevs
23
Oddly enough, I feel like I'm getting MORE usage out of Claude's $100/mo plan than I was with Codex's $100/mo plan. I've been cranking non-stop and I have still yet to reach 50% in the 5 hour and not even close in the weekly.
24
I underestimated how much of a negative impact Claude not having image generation is. I thought it wouldn't be that big of a deal and I could just deal with it, but it's a huge inconvenience.

Hey all you Opus users, what effort are you using? Let's ignore the fact that apparently effort high is less than half.

Why can’t people have original thoughts anymore? This shit is so irritating. Makes me think everything here on X is just a bunch of BS and bots.
