@JohnJayCabuay recently illustrated a story for Junior Scholastic's "True Teens of History" about Louis Braille, the inventor of (you guessed it) Braille! It's fascinating how the system he created at only 15 would eventually become a world standard.
#BlindnessAwarenessMonth
ALT A stylized illustration of teenage Louis Braille standing with his eyes closed, dressed in a peacoat and reading a Braille book. The background contains layered textures in yellow, pink, and green, and a pattern that resembles braille cells.
“MAYA-XIII”
