Drove to Wichita Falls to price materials for my beer room remodel. And, of course, I got my heart set on the most expensive ceramic floor tile they had. Over $500 for the floor.
But it looks fucking sweet.

Started tearing up the carpet in the back room, to convert it into a home brewery. Putting down some tile. Also converting the back half of the room into a walk in cooler for beer storage.

We had a golden age. Breaking Bad. The first half of Game of Thrones. Then it fell apart. What changed? The MeToo movement? The witch hunts that resulted from chasing a "modern audience"?

I used too much flour in the roux, and ended up having to add another beer. Then it was too much liquid... long story short, I now have about three gallons of Welsh Rarebit.
So cooking up some beef caldillo to mix into the cheese sauce. And then pouring that over some spaetzle.
