ALT This is John McAslan Partners’ newly published plan for the reconfiguration of Glasgow’s George Square. It shows the significant increase in the surface area of the square’s public realm. In addition, there is a significant increase in vegetation particularly trees as well as the relocation of the statues to the eastern half of the square with the Glasgow Cenotaph and the Monument to Walter Scott remaining in their existing locations.
