@Nigel_Farage is a horrible judgemental, small-minded b@stard. Only professionals like teachers, educational psychologists, paediatric drs, GPs, and in some places, the parents, can refer a child for ADHD assessments. YEARS they then have to wait.1 of my children waited 4 years, 1 waited 3 years. The assessments then take MONTHS. Reports, multiple observations, assessments and a QB test to assess the brains activity. THEN once all EVIDENCE is collected, multiple professionals discuss ALL outcomes and decide on a diagnosis or not. You dont just tick a few boxes on a survery and go - "yep, ADHD." And finally, if it wasnt a complex neurological condition, it would not be managed with drugs that are a CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. Prescribed only by a psychiatrist, you need your passport or photographic ID to pick it up from a pharmacy, and the oerson taken it is frequently monitored. I am honestly terrified for my children if this idiot gets in! Voting Reform will be the same as voting for the Orange American nobhead Trump. And people slag off Keir Starmer when he is actively changing things FOR our children. £1.6 billion for an "Inclusive Mainstream Fund," providing direct funding to early years, schools, and colleges £1.8 billion to create an "Experts at Hand" service, bringing specialists like speech and language therapists into local areas.£200 million for SEND outreach teams in "Best Start Family Hubs" £200 million to train teachers to better support SEND pupils £200 million to support local authorities in transforming their operating models. For the love of god, do not fucking vote for Reform!!!!
