I’m in so many meetings where assumption is cuts coming to third sector services specifically dealing with inequality, poverty and community wealth. We’ve got to come together to make this impossible: these are what prevents GP, hospital, social care and other being overwhelmed.

Everyone celebrates Scottish Child Payment as if it is a breakthrough. People would not have been so excited if the announcement was simply Universal Credit was going to be raised £25 per child. But the implementation of SCP has now created a new needless huge benefit trap.
Worked out @CommRenewal have 94 formal partner organisations. Not general stakeholders or fellow members of networks. I mean organisations where we have an agreement in place for funding, sub-contracting, consortium, SLA, required quarterly meeting schedule etc. #collaboration
Sadly those that prefer capitalism and philanthropy over growing collective or community power have won the argument to define social enterprise. Not the end of the world but perpetuates the idea that a few powerful generous wealthy decision makers is enough to change the world.
