OK, editorial columnists: Please stop telling us why Harris lost. Start telling us what all these rightwing appointees really mean to us.

Trump has now reaffirmed his plan to eliminate the U.S. Department of Education. For the record that department funds, among other things, all the special education and special needs program in public schools and public colleges in all 50 states.

Unless you're a billionaire or you're a young, blond, pretty woman, the president-elect doesn't care about you. You're about to find that out.

from @BillKristol . exactly right. my job isnt to avoid insulting voters or even win elections. my job is to explain what we face, many voters badly informed with terrible values. deal with it we need to be able to say that it was foolish and short-sighted, and maybe worse, to judge that Joe Biden’s economy was so terrible that Donald Trump’s bigotry and demagoguery counted for nothing. We need to be able to say it was wrong to embrace change if change means the deportation of millions of residents living here peacefully, or abandoning tens of millions of Ukrainians fighting for the survival of their nation and their liberty.

I hope UNC is getting paid well by Kansas for going to the Phog for this exhibition game.
