What is a socialist? A socialist is a person who is completely ignorant of economics.

I tried, and was able to get a tiny bit of the SpaceX IPO, and I already own a bit of Tesla, because I would rather than have a measly little fraction of the wealth that @elonmusk creates, than vote for an anti-prosperity marxist-communist-socialist like @BernieSanders and ending up equally sharing in the poverty he will cause!

What made it easy for us when our daughter was born with Down syndrome? We had at least four families that were close to us, and we had experience with a couple more families with children with Down syndrome, and we know of a couple other adults with Down syndrome, so we knew that our daughter was not going to be the burden that some others were telling us she would be. We knew she would be a joy in life. Life was good! Life is good! Life will be good! We will be able to grow old with our child! The only people you should listen to when it comes to life with Down syndrome are people who have experienced it in life. They will tell you the truth, they will share the joys and the sorrows. They are the only ones who know!

Life with Down syndrome. Another heart wrenching experience when we had our daughter at an event. She was somewhere around a year old. An elderly gentleman looked at her and began to cry. He looked at us and told us to love her. He related that he and his wife also had a daughter with Down Syndrome, but as soon as she was born, the medical staff wished her away and never allowed them to see her. She was raised a home. They never got to see her until she was older, but by that time it was too late. I think the idea that these children suffer comes from this dark history. Families were made to suffer because of ignorance. The exact same ignorance continues to this day. We have witness this ignorant on many platforms over the past few days. The ignorance towards this disability has been extremely disturbing. These children do not suffer, they define love, they are the closest thing in the world to human perfection.

I am reminded of some people’s comments/questions back when our daughter was born with Down syndrome. One was, “how severe is it?” She has Down Syndrome, I am sorry you are ignorant! Some people were well meaning, some people were flat out rude.

Here is the truth, none of us is perfect, no child is perfect, no parent is perfect, but a child with Down Syndrome is about the closest person we can find to perfection.

The misconceptions and lies being spread about raising a child with Down syndrome is very disheartening. These children bring nothing but unconditional love into the home. They have joys and sorrows like every other child. You celebrate every success with them, just as you do with every other child you have. They are truly a gift to a family. To reject a child because of someone else’s diagnosis of how your life will be with them is dangerous. You will know no love. Listen to the people who have experienced what life is like. They will share the struggles and the joys. I would never ever recommend aborting a child’s life. Listen to the people who experience life with these children, and shut out the nonsense from people who think they are experts or think they have compassion! In the end, you can believe whatever you want to believe, and I have every right to say that abortion is one of the purest forms of evil.

I feel sick to my stomach tonight hearing about the “influencers” who have publicly revealed they aborted their child with Down Syndrome. I feel such a deep hatred today towards the abortion industry and everyone who celebrates it.

Marxist-communist-socialists believe jealousy/envy should be considered a virtue!

Grievance studies researcher spends time and effort and came up with a number that is mostly meaningless, but misleads intentionally for political purposes. We are fortunate that the whole article is behind a paywall so most people will be unable to read it. Those that do will simply be reading it to confirm their bias.

My husband @flowidealism went to the University of Chicago to do his PhD specifically to prove the free market economists wrong. He was that committed. He became depressed for two years... Because he learned he'd been lied to his entire life. He went looking for ammunition and came back converted.  Most people avoid that risk. They'd rather keep believing something comfortable than find out it's wrong, because once you see it, you can't go back to not seeing it.

I see this and I think that we should pause all freeway traffic until human driven cars can handle construction zones and freeways properly. People driving cars is the greatest hazard on our roadways! Every single day driving the 51 I have to dodge idiots in cars, and other people have to dodge this idiot as well!
