GM 🌎 “Art is the oldest onramp we have. It is the ultimate bridge. Humanity has always used creativity to process the world, share stories, and connect with one another. It doesn’t require prior knowledge. It just requires showing up.” @jomraw We have to keep showing up ⚜️ Le Temps Revient
For the past few years we’ve all been able to build with no borders. Founders developing new ideas with people across the world. Artists reaching collectors they never would have found otherwise. Communities forming new waves of culture especially at a time when irl connection wasn’t possible. But most people still have borders. Mostly based on a lack of access to knowledge and opportunities for growth. The friction to understand what’s happening in emerging technologies, and what it means for their lives, is still enormous for most of the world. That’s why irl still matters. Why local communities matter. Why bringing artists, builders, and curious people into the same room still changes things faster than anything. And art is how you open that room to everyone. Art is the oldest onramp we have. It is the ultimate bridge. Humanity has always used creativity to process the world, share stories, and connect with one another. It doesn’t require prior knowledge. It just requires showing up. That’s exactly what @WaitHopeFound does, organizing events, residencies, and festivals around the world to onboard those who wouldn’t normally participate, and ensure that different perspectives are included in shaping what gets built and who it actually serves.

Layers are what make a photo feel like a scene. I always try to keep this in mind when composing. Foreground, subject, and background, all in harmony like it’s making me feel there again.

GM ⚜️ Excited to announce that @30CamposEliseos is coming together with @mallowdotart @exchgART @WaitHopeFound to host the opening night showcase of @Romenewmedia week starting on July 6th in Rome in front of the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art. 🇮🇹 Our selected artists are exhibiting 30 artworks: @EV3_art @celstialbody @0xloyola @post_screw @utkudedetas @YuserXyz Movements are built when times are difficult. Art leveraging blockchain will have a transcendental impact on history, but it will not be easy to make it so. It will take all of us. Remember that Rome was not built in a day - pun intended, i had to haha. I would like to thank those who believe in art: @JTLissPhotoArt @kaya_mallow @Pedromiranda @solana @0xMQQ for their continued support of initiatives that empower artists and creators worldwide. We are also proud to say that the festival is officially supported by the city of Rome and want to congratulate @vandaloruins on his hard work on creating programming that has institutional support and is expecting attendance from respected curators, gallerists and collectors from around Europe - as well as some amazing builders in the space. Honored to be collaborating with you once again! See you in Rome, Le Temps Revient 🇮🇹 To register for the festival (July 6-10): romenewmediaweek.com/

this is our whole thesis. > gen-z & gen alpha are going back to theaters > creators have access to built in distribution and a proven training ground > it doesn't take 20M to make a movie anymore all that's required is for someone crazy enough to build a new studio that takes on legacy players by picking & funding these projects at scale. the next great stories are coming from kids with a camera and something to say and that's a beautiful thing.
This movie made for $750K has now made $171M. Those 226x returns mog $SIVE (1700%) and $LITE (960%). If you're young, remember the most asymmetric outcomes for you in this AI era won't come from stocks. But rather, ventures you can now launch with minimal resources.

JOM is probably one of the best photographers in this scene. I can totally get lost in his pieces. The lighting is one thing, but the way he uses his visual language to capture one’s emotions is just unparalleled. Truly a fan. What talent this guy has. 🤍

After Backrooms and Netflix’s recent deals with youtube creators and formats like Mark Rober, Ms. Rachel, and Pop the Balloon, it’s pretty clear that the next gen of IP will start on youtube. Build the audience first, prove demand, then let studios and streaming platforms license or acquire it. I also think this could help solve Hollywood’s theater problem. Instead of spending hundreds of millions on mediocre concepts that don’t bring people to theaters, studios can tap into creators who already have millions of subscribers with proven concepts. If that works, Youtube could become the farm system for Hollywood and likely headed for some sort of content renaissance driven by creators

Over two years ago, I started helping @drip_haus onboard creators. I ended up joining the team full-time. Today, I officially step down from my role as Head of Growth. I got to be part of an incredible team and lead initiatives that helped onboard thousands of creators and fans, work with top-tier brands across the Solana ecosystem, run campaigns end-to-end, represent DRiP at key conferences around the world, host creator meetups, and present on the main stage at Catlumpurr. All by working with a mission I've always felt aligned with: a better economy for creators. DRiP showed me what's possible when you put creators at the center of everything. I watched people who never called themselves creators find an audience they actually cared about. Everything started with making memes about @vibhu through SolCity and having awesome conversations with him. Grateful for your trust and for the opportunity you gave me. To @vesper792, from whom I learned so much in my first months on the team. To @meganwestsol - working with you was one of the best professional experiences I've had. You gave me trust, real guidance, and my first deep experience in Business Development. The dynamic we built together was something special, and I learned a lot from you during this time. To @skz_drip and @NxJoe24, for continuously building great tools and experiences for creators, watching the work behind the product gave me a whole new level of appreciation. To @fierzafajri, for the memories, especially that epic dance at Catlumpurr's closing party. To @XO12XX and @AlanGnft, my partners in crime on everything, my durb and nurb. You guys are like family to me, we've always had the best huddles, and together we've done amazing campaigns and built a community like no other. I spent two years helping creators find a home for their work in the Solana ecosystem. Now that'll continue to be my home as a creator myself. So, what's next? I'm a storyteller and a filmmaker. That's not changing. I'm going to keep pursuing my career as a creative and improving my skills. And the same way I believe a good story can connect people, I believe in turning ideas into something people actually feel. Good technology, like good storytelling, brings people together. Creates better tools, and a better world, and there's still so much left to build. Thank you, I love you.

The creator economy has always optimized for audience size. Everyone chased followers. Nobody built communities that could grow together. That gap is the opportunity.
