A fantastic engaged bunch of teachers from @McMurrayMiddle and @Wrightmiddle extending their learning of Thinking Maps for part two and four more maps. Of course you have to throw in some interaction to keep the focus! @MNPS_EL

Really enjoyed attending my first AVID Excel class @Wrightmiddle today. Ms. Adam had the students speaking and writing about an Emerson quote within the first 10 minutes. Way to go! @MNPS_EL

I had a great time working with @Wrightmiddle teachers yesterday to help build their capacity to implement academic conversations in their classrooms. I loved the way the teachers really took on board the importance of body norms. @MNPS_EL

A great follow up professional development session this morning @AntiochMSBears supporting co-teaching teams. We reflected on our practice so far and refined collective commitments. @MNPS_EL of course we started with a QSSSA to get the blood flowing and brain working!

Day 4 of in-service @Wrightmiddle I had the privilege of co-presenting with the fabulous Dr. Newman on Thinking Maps and then I facilitated a session on academic conversations whole school to close out. Despite tiredness kicking in the teachers were fabulous! @MNPS_EL

Teacher appreciation week this week. I was lucky to see good teaching in a sheltered, co-taught and SIFE class this morning @WeAreAntiochHS with an MNPS @MNPS_EL registrar. Ms. Watson, Ms.Martin/Ms. Zalazar and @MsBarrack were invested in their students. Thank you!
