1/11 🧵 Have you heard of Forest Bathing or ShinrinYoku? 🌲 Ever wondered where the practice came from and what we—especially conservationists and #Health practitioners—can learn from it? A brief thread on my @churchillfellowship to Japan and South Korea, and what I discovered🌍

10/11 South Korea needs more private involvement, while Japan needs more government support. So, for countries interested in nature-based public health a balance between private practice and government incentives - with innovative finance mechanisms - could be the way to go.

So proud!

We're so proud to announce that WWT's Dr Ruth Cromie has been awarded an OBE for services to wetland and waterbird conservation! She has worked tirelessly for wildlife and led calls for a ban on lead ammunition, which will save more than 1 million birds each year in Europe.
