Star Wars messes with linguistics in ways I don’t like sometimes. But contemplating one instance today inspired a simple poem Desde la luna Centax la una, Coruscant planeta en cielo corusca.

I’m not making 2026 resolutions …because that would be way too many resolutions.

Thinking about putting time and effort into new episodes of The Spider Diaries. Would you listen? (Of course, with algorithm-driven social media these days, who’s to say the potential listeners would even see this post.)

My existence in Twitter consists primarily of the following: Oh I have notifications. Oh none of those are actually engagements with me. Or they’re engagements with really old posts. Probably cuz I don’t tweet much. And that one’s trying to flirt. Time to block another sex bot.

Reporting immigration violation makes you NOT THE GOOD GUY of the story. (Absolute Superman 6, 2025)

Sometimes a comic book relaunch describes a world with the bad guys in charge, using language that almost identically describes the actual state of the world. (G.I. Joe 156, 2010)

That’s… that’s not what disenfranchising means.
Replying to @Pontifex
Pope Leo, you are disenfranchising millions of Catholics. Please do not be like your predecessor. I am already tuning you out. You will probably be the last Pope of my lifetime. I urge you to reflect on how this affects law abiding Catholics.

This post has 22 million views in two days, going on record as the loudest advertisement of how sleeping through history class can leave you living life as a stupid ass mother fucker.

It occurs to me that Elric of Melniboné was killing people with a sword and receiving the Quickening long before Connor or Duncan ever put on a kilt.

I would watch anybody these, but Amazing Spider-Man 3 was a dropped promise that I wish had been fulfilled. So that’s my top pick.

Okay so this is weird and amazing. Interview with the Vampire and The Sandman. Two story properties that I am ONLY into cuz my brother Jim (died 2016) was into them. So they occupy very neighborly spaces in my head.

And they’ve just had a crossover. Jacob Anderson, who plays Louis de Pointe du Lac in the current television adaptation of The Vampire Chronicles, also plays [REDACTED] in the last two episodes of The Sandman. I love this. This is amazing.

Okay, you know what? No. F**k you, you 1988 comic book.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds might be my new all-time favorite version of the franchise. S3 starts tomorrow, so we are finishing S2 today. There is so much good that they’ve done with these characters, whom I’ve known my whole life but who have now grown in such unexpected ways.

How does a delusion like this even happen? Is there a single headline anywhere about Superman’s opening weekend take that isn’t positive?
Uhh can someone tell dude to give me my $100? Superman is flopping at the box office as we speak

If the idea of the Superman movie being political bothers you, If you’ve ever uttered the word “woke” or “DEI” with the slightest hint of derision, If you voted for FOTUS, Then guess what.
