I’ve been patient about this for months, but at this point I need to speak publicly.
@Rhyscryptoo still owes me agreed payment from 2 projects despite repeated follow-ups, promises, and continued requests for work/help afterward.
Last year, I worked on a clipping platform project for him under a milestone payment agreement. Midway through the project, after funding development myself, I requested just 25% ($1500) of the agreed amount so I could continue comfortably.
On a call, he went through it and said he was impressed with the work and said he’d send it.
He never did.
Later on, he approached me for another project. Before agreeing, I brought up the previous situation and asked for an explanation. He explained that he no longer needed the first project anymore. While I was frustrated because of the amount of time, energy, and personal resources I had already invested, I understood his side and decided to move forward professionally.
I then worked on the second project, and after delivery, he said he wasn’t satisfied with the final outcome, which I honestly understood from his side too. We then agreed on a $500 compensation with payment expected within 7 days.
Then about a week or two later, he came back with a smaller paid gig (Framer / custom code work). I completed it and got paid properly. I also helped with other technical fixes around that time, which is why I didn’t suspect anything was off, since there was still normal paid collaboration happening.
That compensation payment was still never sent.
That was months ago.
Since then: mostly silence, delayed replies, or no replies at all despite repeated follow-ups.
Meanwhile, I still continued helping with deployments, domains, repos, fixes, and technical support whenever needed outside of that smaller paid gig.
Freelancers invest real time, money, energy, internet, electricity, and sacrifice into projects. Some of us are balancing school and exams while still trying to deliver professionally.
I still hope this gets resolved privately and professionally, but repeatedly delaying agreed payments while continuing to ask for work/help isn’t okay.
