The last two months have been intense at Zypp Labs. If we're building money that moves no matter what, then we have to keep moving too. Here's what happened across April and May: − We officially started development of Zypp Pay, turning months of research into a real product and taking the first steps toward offline-first payments. x.com/use_zypp/status/203965… − We researched, designed, and built a new transaction transfer protocol that removes the need for Bluetooth, opening up new possibilities for device-to-device payment communication. x.com/use_zypp/status/204216… − We launched the Zypp Pay website and waitlist, attracting over 3,200 signups. These users gained access to our Beta-1 campaign and became the foundation of our early testing community. x.com/use_zypp/status/204587… − We onboarded our first cohort of beta testers from the waitlist, with 30 users actively testing Zypp Pay and providing feedback that continues to shape the product. x.com/use_zypp/status/205028… − Zypp Labs was featured in Hashed Emergent's Web3 Finance Landscape Report, recognizing our work in offline-first payment infrastructure. docsend.com/view/rh2qdtbhftc… − We participated in the Solana Frontier Colosseum Hackathon, pushing Zypp Pay further under real-world development timelines. x.com/use_zypp/status/205360… − We restructured our brand identity and visual system to better reflect the direction we're heading as a company. x.com/use_zypp/status/205990… − We quietly began the Lossless Experiment, an internal initiative exploring new approaches to resilient financial infrastructure. Most of this work happened behind the scenes, but it lays the foundation for everything coming next. The focus now is simple: ship, learn, iterate, and get Zypp Pay into more hands. Stay bullish.
if it doesn't work offline, it fails as a medium! zm!

At @SuperteamNG, we identify and grow talents. I was quite fascinated by the technical contributions of 14yr old Joshua to our projects during the @colosseum hackathon I spoke with @Harri_obi, and the community decided to get him a PC, Mifi, and 3 month internet subscription 💯 The parents expressed appreciation and pledged to support his budding software engineering journey.

we're refining the payment flow in the zypp pay app, and making it faster, smoother and easier to use. but until then, i think we have a ten-out-of-ten onboarding flow so far.

I’ve been patient about this for months, but at this point I need to speak publicly. @Rhyscryptoo still owes me agreed payment from 2 projects despite repeated follow-ups, promises, and continued requests for work/help afterward. Last year, I worked on a clipping platform project for him under a milestone payment agreement. Midway through the project, after funding development myself, I requested just 25% ($1500) of the agreed amount so I could continue comfortably. On a call, he went through it and said he was impressed with the work and said he’d send it. He never did. Later on, he approached me for another project. Before agreeing, I brought up the previous situation and asked for an explanation. He explained that he no longer needed the first project anymore. While I was frustrated because of the amount of time, energy, and personal resources I had already invested, I understood his side and decided to move forward professionally. I then worked on the second project, and after delivery, he said he wasn’t satisfied with the final outcome, which I honestly understood from his side too. We then agreed on a $500 compensation with payment expected within 7 days. Then about a week or two later, he came back with a smaller paid gig (Framer / custom code work). I completed it and got paid properly. I also helped with other technical fixes around that time, which is why I didn’t suspect anything was off, since there was still normal paid collaboration happening. That compensation payment was still never sent. That was months ago. Since then: mostly silence, delayed replies, or no replies at all despite repeated follow-ups. Meanwhile, I still continued helping with deployments, domains, repos, fixes, and technical support whenever needed outside of that smaller paid gig. Freelancers invest real time, money, energy, internet, electricity, and sacrifice into projects. Some of us are balancing school and exams while still trying to deliver professionally. I still hope this gets resolved privately and professionally, but repeatedly delaying agreed payments while continuing to ask for work/help isn’t okay.

and just like that, first release of reflect >|< is out for macos at reflect.aikins.xyz reflect is an app for android users who happen to use macos and or are jealous of iphone mirroring app. it works like the iphone mirroring app. so your android stays where you work
since there has been a huge gap between when i started sharing about reflect >|< and my recent posts, anyone that wasn’t paying attention before found my post vague; so let me explain; reflect is a mirroring app for android users. starting with macos. i started it as a …

I’ve wanted this kind of navigation animation in react native for a long time. It always felt almost impossible to get right, but it’s finally starting to feel close. This animation is .navigation.reveal() in react-native-screen-transitions. Here’s a side by side comparison.
