We had a great time "experiencing the past" and portraying book binder and stationer business at the Eastern Carolina Village and Farm Museum's Historic Trades Day - trades and skills of the 1800s.
We showed historic bookbinding, inks, letters and stationary trades.
ALT Two individuals are in a rustic, wood-paneled workshop. One is seated at a wooden table with bookbinding tools and materials, including paper and thread, while the other stands behind. They are both wearing period-style clothing. The setting suggests a historical or craft demonstration environment.
