My amazing colleague @aliciavlozano, who has been among the reporters helping with coverage of news including natural disasters for years, lost her childhood home. Sending her family — and everyone else impacted — so much love. Truly devastating to be an Angeleno right now.
I could be standing in Lahaina or Paradise or Mendocino. Today I’m standing in the rubble of what used to be my childhood home and am reminded that wildfires don’t care if you live in a mansion or a studio apartment. Once they come for you, we’re all the same @NBCNews
