As part of our agreement, LA County jails will:
▪️ Create 1,925 community beds as an alternative to incarceration for people with mental illness.
▪️ Boost mental health support during the jail intake process.
▪️ Provide regular reports to the court on the progress of reforms.

Rabbi Harold Kushner passed away today. His book When Bad Things Happen to Good People provided comfort to millions. He was a good and gentle man, a genuine hero and Mensch. May his memory be a blessing.
