It's particularly interesting to compare what Hickman does differently in both. "The Nightly News", stylish as it is, is full of little humorous info blurbs and the traditional infographics. But in "Pax Romana", Hickman toys with Bendis style prose dialogue and double pages

Man, comic book movie fans are so chill and well-adjusted. (I say this as a comic book movie fan. I do find the tough guy posturing from the dude who loves computer-generated cartoons.)

Something very endearing about the origin of manga and how cartoony it was, before the style that would make "anime" famous actually solidified. Knowing where Ashita no Joe ends, even it would change a lot by the end Comic book history is always fascinating

I cannot bring myself to actually hate X6. It's sloppy, it's obtuse, it has some of the most irritating level design in the whole franchise, and yet... Tbh, I feel like I'd play it over X5 any day of the week, end of the day

It's not my thread but I will answer for reasons of: DK2 is a fucking masterpiece It's basically an underground book published by a large mainstream publisher. It has an underground energy. Miller was getting crazy in his cartoony era, and Lynn Varley gets experimental. Gold!!!

True statement The closest I feel Cyke got to a really cool redesign was the very sleek Forever Evil one, and the last one has a good deal of charm, but yeah, nothing beats how cool he looks in the cartoon, if we're honest
