The language used by services to describe schemas: object types, scalars, lists, enums, unions, interfaces
The language used by consumers to describe data needs: queries, mutations, subscriptions, fragments, fields, aliases, directives

Avoid short/random test data in development. Use realistic, production-like data in there to make your manual tests relevant and useful.
If possible, use a snapshot of your production data (after removing or masking private/secure stuff)

If you want less unknown bugs tomorrow, add more constraints to your code today
Constraints include:
Input validation rules (forms/components/functions)
Types & linting rules
Strict modes (JS/HTML/CSS/React/...)
Database-level constraints (PK/FK/Unique/Check/nullability)

Examples of famous coding practices that aren't exactly good:
Everything should be immutable
map/filter/reduce over loops
Arrow functions over regular ones
Manage state in the root component
One component per file
Always test first
Don't mix CSS with HTML
Organize files by type
Follow good coding practices, not famous ones. These two are often different.
