Hanging out with our friend Eli from @makeymakey at @NCSSNetwork conference in the @STEMfinity booth! I took rhe opportunity of this time together to learn about their newest addition/accessory to the product we all know and love! Did you know they released a new backpack called Code-a-Key for the base model back in January that then makes Makey Makey compatible with @microbit_edu? Cool way to extend the learning to combine circuits and coding!

It was a privilege to present an interactive workshop today for the @IrvingLibraries librarians! Great day of learning, collaboration, and sharing STEM implementation ideas to support the ELAR Curriculum, Amplify! We had meaningful conversations about how STEM library resources can be used as a tool to boost and foster content background knowledge and vocabulary! True STEM and tech apps should not be its own silo and it was inspiring to see how these librarians are taking this to the next level and creating powerful, connected, and fun experiences for students! At @STEMfinity we are breaking barriers, empowering educators, and STEMulating the future!
