Decided to vacation in Australia this Xmas. Had the worst @Qantas and @AmericanAir experience. The two keep fighting over whose responsibility it is that they lost our baggage. Qantas tells us it's in Brisbane and will ship it and to expect a call

24 hr later @AmericanAir says they dropped it at Brisbane and it's @qantas problem. @qantas suddenly doesn't know where the bag is.

Lessons learned: use air tags. Read the website terms. @Qantas policy clearly stated they're responsible for bags if they're the last leg of a flight but keep blaming @AmericanAir.
