At 73, you might think I'd be slowing down. Instead, I'm packing my bags, checking my concert tickets for the tenth time, and getting ready for an adventure to Red Rocks. There's something special about traveling to see a favorite artist, catching up with familiar faces, and meeting new friends who are just as excited as I am. Sure, some people my age are comparing prescription plans—I’m comparing seat locations and concert setlists. I’ve heard Red Rocks is worth every mile. The views are spectacular, the music is unforgettable, and the climb to your seat counts as cardio for the week. The best part is realizing that excitement doesn't come with an expiration date. If anything, I've learned that life is too short to stay home when there's music to hear, friends to see, and memories waiting to be made. I may need a little more coffee in the morning and a little longer to recover the next day, but when those lights go down and the music starts, I'm just as excited as I was decades ago—maybe even more. We don’t care if you flip us off. (with a smile). We don’t care if you love golf more than us 😉 & we don’t care if your chickens are your best friends …we like chicken. Let’s talk about what we do care about ? We care about you guys being happy, healthy and successful. We care that you listen to legitimate issues brought up by your fans: perfect example being Harrys stage. Harry doesn’t want anyone to leave his concerts unhappy. We care Louis continues to run to barricade so fans can get just a little touch . He’s been scratched, mauled, clothes ripped and he still Comes to barricade. We care you show your appreciation to us every opportunity you get. We all know there’s never a shortage of trash talk, gossip, speculation or lies but we want you to know there’s a huge majority of your fans that don’t engage in the negative, rude and often nasty side of social media. That same huge majority simply attends concerts, watches live steams, buys merchandise and albums. The support is there and always will be. the silent majority …living our best life & enjoying all of you …..drama free. 💙💚🇨🇮💛💔

Niall talking about the 1D group chats😭. Captain Niall to save the day ! Niall said that the boys are good at checking in on each other and seeing how everyone is doing. He said, “We’re good at like checking in on each other and see how everyone’s doing. ‘Cause we all like, that’s the only thing about what we do is, anyone could be anywhere at any time. Like, you get to LA and you’ll be like, “I’ve just arrived,” and they’ll say, “Well, I left last night.” Yeah, yeah. But like there, there’s a lot of, you know, shifts in the night stuff, so. Realizing Louis & Harry are musicians, actors, business men, cash cows & they are managed as such….it makes it so much easier to enjoy their music. The “thank you I wouldn’t be here without all of you” speeches I feel are heartfelt and genuine. I believe when they’re on stage they’re loving what they do ….i believe they are thankful for their fans. But in the end I feel they are like any other business. Hard decisions have to be made, smiles have to be smiled, meet and greets are well coordinated and always showcased. Stories (true or not) are written, debunked and create chaos among fans. It’s all the media circus ….every click is another $ and another day of free publicity. I’m a little sad by the hate and nasty comments being directed toward both Louis and Harry. I wish THEY could tour in every city, hug every fan and keep everyone happy. But if I keep reminding myself THEY are a business….THEY have people to pay with families to support …..i take a step back. I can’t even imagine the cost of doing a world tour ….so many factors must go into making these business decisions. If we trust Louis & Harry then we have to believe they’re doing the best they can ….no artist wants to ever disappoint their fans…..fans also have their own challenges, ticket prices, flights and accommodations - these guys could NOT allow live streams then where would we be? The good news is being a fan is free 💕 Time to turn down the noise and turn up the music ! Happy concert day to everyone !🎶

There’s not much I don’t love about Louis💙. One of my absolute favorite things is the way he can disappear. He gives every ounce of himself to us at each show ….then poof….that man is gone. He’s off resting, reenergizing, he’s probably off causing chaos somewhere we can’t see. He wakes up at God knows what time to send a tweet …thanks and see you soon. Then poof…gone again. While I miss him I gotta say I appreciate the quiet before the storm. See you at Red Rocks - minus any storms 💙

Louies, Harries, Larrys, Shials, Ziams, Zouis… solos, antis, and haters in general — why? Why are we fighting among ourselves? Why are we hating on any of these young men? Why does anyone feel entitled to say cruel, hateful, or degrading things to either them or complete strangers? Music is art. It’s entertainment. It’s supposed to evoke emotion, tame the beast, and unite people. It is NOT supposed to spread hate, fuel judgment, and divide fandoms. Yet here we are. These guys are untouchable to 99.999% of us. We create images in our minds, dream about them, imagine stories about their lives — but the truth is, none of us actually knows them personally. They have private lives they protect, as they should, and they owe us NOTHING. They don’t owe us a new album.
They don’t owe us meet & greets.
They don’t owe us explanations about gossip magazines, tabloids, relationships, or rumors. You don’t have to believe in “beards,” girlfriends, or any narrative pushed online. These guys rise above the gossip. They don’t engage in hate or publicly tear others down.  We do that to ourselves. Some people attack so-called girlfriends or “beards” based on assumptions and speculation. But we know very little about these women or the reality of their lives. If you don’t like any of their new music or their videos upset you ….dont watch. It’s ok not to like it….theres always more than one song on an album 😉.  I believe true artist appreciate open and honest opinions …..and those can be expressed without the hate, rude and nasty comments.   And my “Mother of the Year” award goes to the moms & grand moms of these young men. I truly hope they don’t read half the things blasted across social media. They know their sons. They love their sons. And no matter what path their sons choose in life, they stand beside them.
