I have unsubscribed from text messages from pretty much every campaign and candidate. But there is one I have unsubscribed from more than any other. How many times do I have to reply “stop” to end his desperate pleas about how he is down one point in (state)?

Sometimes negotiations end and are over.
Sometimes both parties need to walk away for one reason or another before coming back to the table.
It’s impossible for an outsider to know which is which.

Obviously the hockey game was incredible. Canadians played well but couldn’t get another past Helleybuck, who had the game of his life.
But kudos to the zebras for letting them play. It was a physical game but the referees did not make themselves the story. So rare these days.

Goodness are we coddled in life. I’m in a metal tube traveling at 500 miles per hour 35,000 feet in the sky and am annoyed by the buffering on my tablet while streaming a football game more than 5,000 miles away.
