While I admire charities like Tunnels to Towers, I question why we need them. The one thing the government should do is take care of those that gave life and limb to the military/industrial complex. We’re providing healthcare to illegals. Forgiving student loans for idiots, but some guy that lost his legs in uniform needs a charity?
