Replaying Witcher 3 for the first time since 2016. It still holds up rather nicely ... but god the movement is clunky. And the amount of side quests. I'm glad I'm not a completionist otherwise I'd probably be turning insane by the amount of content this game has to offer.

Programming is when you never have the time or money to do it right, but always have the time and money to do it twice.

Reading “The Every” by Dave Eggers makes me want to quit all of social media and move to an alp.

First time at Boulderbar Seestadt today (first proper boulder gym close to my home). Nice boulders, it is clean and feels incredibly open. I only have two complaints: Their grading is rather liberal and no overhangs (☹️).

Apparently I have to wait 1-2 days until the updater recognises I've enabled TPM (in my case), alternatively I can download Windows 11 directly from their website. Still weird and definitely very confusing.

I think I've reached my saturation point for keynotes. At this point I'm like: can we skip to the TL;DR?

Found this cute little fellow in the cellar today 🥰 Placed them on a water lily in our neighbour’s natural pool.

I don't like how it's SO hip to have (public) side projects as a developer. I'm a student and already work 32h/w as a developer. When exactly am I supposed to work on side projects?

TIL: Read up on known issues before updating to the latest macOS version. My 16" MBP recognises my 4k monitor as 1080p …

Can’t open an article discussing how we all hate cookie banners because of a content blocker. The irony.

❌ I use Apple's Magic keyboard, a mechanical keyboard would drive me insane. ❌ I'm on Twitter roughly once each day. ❌ All my devices are muted. Also, I (usually) don't reply to chat messages when I'm in the middle of a task. I guess I'm not a developer 😀

Developers: "I need a quiet environment to work." Also developers: ✅ World's loudest mechanical keyboard ✅ Twitter open 24/7 ✅ iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch with notifications buzzing every 30 seconds

SwiftUI is great and all but constantly having to find workarounds for seemingly simple things is a pain. SwiftUI 3.0 is *definitely* going to be production ready …

I love watching movies which take themselves WAY too seriously whilst the story is getting more and more absurd. Looking mainly at you, LGBTQ movies.
