There have been many first pages in the course of my writing career, but perhaps none as exciting for me as this one. Screenwriting is how my writing career began and I’m thrilled to get back to my roots and work again in this medium.

Also, this doesn’t mean I’m done writing books! It means that this is the project I wanted to write at this time. Once I’m finished I’ll think about what’s next. (Full disclosure: I’m halfway through screenplay at this point. Didn’t want to post until I was further along.)

It’s the end of an era…. As of today, we are no longer Chicagoans. This move is bittersweet, but we’re all really excited for this new adventure. Well, except for the dog—he may need a few days to adjust. 😀 Farewell, Windy City. It’s been a good ride.
