Finished a great week of medicine on the @TempleIM sub-i service. Hope I made at least half the impression on my sub-i’s that @rithikarama, @marinabask, and @smmzaidi0 had on me when they were my senior residents during my medicine sub-i at @templemedschool.

Well deserved recognition for one of the best interns at @TempleIM. Bittersweet to see @dillan1patel chase his dreams of becoming the next @DGlaucomflecken at #TempleOphtho
Congratulations to Dr. Dillan Patel, #TempleMed Class of 2021 and a current @TempleHealth resident, who received a #Temple30Under30 award! #TempleMade #TempleProud

One of the best weeks of general medicine wards on the chief service with #MattKelly and @sarabgoff at @TempleIM. Blown away by the superb patient care given by two superstar interns @katyaahr and @JulieGutekunst. They are undeniably ready to be senior residents.

Awesome talk by Dr. Aline Charabaty (@DCharabaty) during GI Grand Rounds at @TempleGastro on social media in the world of Gastroenterology. I can attest that I have definitely learned from GI #MedTwitter that I otherwise would not have learned solely in the clinical setting.

Saw my first fecal microbiota transplant on the general GI consulting service today (@TempleGastro). The patient had fulminant C. diff infection with a significant amount of pseudomembranes. Needless to say, that 💩 was awesome to witness.

Belated shoutout to @fransteezy for being one of the most hardworking people I’ve ever met. Made my life as a senior resident in the ICU much easier. On an unrelated note, anyone know how to convince an anesthesia prelim over to internal medicine? @TempleIM

Very excited to share a co-first authored manuscript on glycogen metabolism in ccRCC published in Nature Metabolism. Thank you to my mentor, Celeste Simon, and everyone in Simon Lab for all the guidance and support.
Research | Glycogen depots are a hallmark of clear cell renal cell carcinoma. Celeste Simon, Hong Xie & Jun Song (@Penn) find that glycogen metabolism is not required for ccRCC tumor progression. nature.com/articles/s42255-0…
