Pinag-aaralan ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) at Metro Manila Council (MMC) ang pagpababawal sa mga taong tumatayo sa parking slot para ireserba ang mga ito. Ayon kay MMDA Chairman Atty. Don Artes, plano nilang magpasa ng resolusyon na humihimok sa lahat ng 17 local na pamahalaan ng Metro Manila na bumuo ng kani-kaniyang ordinansa hinggil dito. Ang ordinansa ang magtatakda ng pagbabawal at pagpaparusa sa "human reservation" sa mga parking space sa Metro Manila. Makikipag-ugnayan din ang ahensiya sa mga may-ari ng mga malls at mga private parking para mabigyang solusyon ang dumaraming insidente ng pag-reserve ng parking slot na kadalasa'y nauuwi sa alitan at gulo.
