A woman who has lived in chaos doesn’t want excitement, She wants calm. She doesn’t want unpredictable love, She wants regulated love. She doesn’t want a man who keeps her guessing, She wants a man who keeps his promises. She learned the hard way that chaos disguised as passion is still chaos. That inconsistency disguised as “I’m trying” is still inconsistency. That a man who loves based on convenience will also leave based on convenience. She’s not hard to love. She just refuses to settle for a man whose energy feels like emotional whiplash. She wants a man whose presence feels like steady ground… not sinking sand. Because peace is not boring… it’s the safest place a woman can rest her heart.

A lesson I learned this year is that a person's capacity for growth is directly linked to how much truth they can face about themselves without running away.
