Anyone else have a feeling this #WorldCup could ne one of the worse ones of all time? From timing of matches, cringey preshow crap, poor pitches. The whole vibe feels fake and completely dull before starting.

Ngl the Qatar World Cup was already written off before a ball was kicked, but in my view it surpassed expectations and was a great World Cup. However, this America one, whilst it maybe a knee jerk reaction but I can sense this will be so bad & one of the worse #WorldCup's

Whilst I fully understand the frustration of the protests ongoing in Southampton but Henry's family wouldn't want this to happen which is completely understandable. However, something needs to happen. There is definitely a two tier policing and the bodycam footage is disgusting

Wonder whether Xabi Alonso regrets joining Chelsea, he'd be better off at Liverpool πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

Whilst this will seem like a controversial squad list but in some ways I like how ballsy Tuchel is, he's gone for the in form players than the popularity brigade and I welcome that. Yes the team may well do absolutely awful, on the other hand they may well surprise...πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

How can Starmer sleep at night knowing the public have this much hate for the man. He's hated by so many yet he's determined to continue despite being hugely unpopular.
β€œKeir Starmer’s a wanker” chanted at the Unite The Kingdom march. It has become the patriotic anthem of 2026. Instantly cheers me up whenever I hear it. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Not saying the March today will be 100% peaceful there will be some arrests but I can imagine after Starmer & Khan visited the police HQ yesterday I guarantee they'd already targeted people and would arrest even without doing any wrongdoing. #Londonmarch

Reform do cpcern me a little bit in the sense what they may do, but think they could be alright. It's the Green Party that concerns me, seem more dangerous and worse with their policies than Labour. #polling

Wonder whether the speaker will actually get Starmer to answer questions today. The speaker is unpredictable it seems one day he'll let him get away without answering anything, the next he actually stands up to Starmer. #PMQs

May not have has much media attention but Olly Robbins certainly appears more honest and trustworthy than Keir.

Ultimately if Keir Starmer didn't publicly come out to deny this claim at the time then clearly it is Keir himself that forced this approval of appointment. All the evidence is clear πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
At a @CommonsForeign session in November 2025, I directly asked Sir Oliver Robbins whether the FCDO had a different view of who should be recommended for the posting of US Ambassador. His response? "It was clear that the Prime Minister wanted to make this appointment himself."

Working for Keir Starmer is now one of the most dangerous occupations in the UK. There are few known survivors. Olly Robbins is just the latest fatality. All sacrificed to divert from a reality we can all see -our country deserves so much better than this man as our Prime Minister.

I've never seen meat with the origin of Iran written on it in supermarkets. Scaremongering.
🚨 NEW: The UK is preparing for shortages of chicken, pork, salad and other groceries this summer if the war in Iran continues [@thetimes]

The UK and it's circus government won't drop #fuel duty or tax to help motorists with high fuel prices until later down the line. Some countries have already acted in such a way, which is great, they care about their people. Here in the UK this government enjoy suffering.

Gareth fully deserved to be #Masterchef champion, such a humble guy and what looks outstanding cooking. Although all chefs in that final were exceptional.

That's how you do a proper job, unlike the crap we have in the UK.
This would take 25 years, Β£3.5 billion, five governments and a bailout in the UK.

F1 should've gradually introduced new rules step by step especially for this seasons new regs it seems like a lot of head scratching going on as to how some cars were slow in practices and suddenly a rocket ship. You've got McLaren who were the fastest car now their not etc
