First aspiration pulmonary thrombectomy @CaroMontHealth! 🫁 Excited to be working with wonderful IC colleagues to expand our PE program and tx algorithm. Intermediate high risk PE, recent surgery ➡️ normalization of PA pressure and d/c from hospital in <48 hours post procedure!

Congratulations to our wonderful research team and Cath lab staff for another first at St Johns University Hospital in Detroit. The first patient has been randomized in the PEERLESS RCT comparing mechanical thrombectomy to CDT! Building the evidence base for PE therapy. #☝️
